So you want to be able to take a list of our current available jobs with you? Well now you can!

Using AvantGo^TM, a simple piece of software, you can sync our site daily allowing you to read the jobs we have available on your PDA. That means you can review job descriptions on the train to work or on your lunch break.

Download the AvantGo software from www.avantgo.com and follow the on screen instructions to sign up (free). This can take from 2-10 minutes depending on your choices, but it's a simple process. Once that's complete you can open AvantGo on your PDA and follow the instructions below.

To make a personal channel more viewable, you have the option of excluding images. To save memory and time resources, you can choose not to follow off-site links (generally advised). To save memory, you can specify a maximum size for the channel. 100k would be sufficient for a Web page that is primarily text.

To create a personal channel: Tap the Manage Channels tab at the top of the screen. The Manage Your Channels page opens. nbsp; Select "Create Personal Channels." The Create Personal Channel screen appears. Enter the details about the channel: Title: MTR URL http://www.mtr.co.nz/pda The depth to which links will be supported. Generally you would not want to go more than 1 or 2 links down. In this case 2. The maximum amount of memory to be allocated to the channel should be set to 200. Images can be displayed as we only include 1 image. Off-site links should not be followed.  Once all details are in place, tap the "Create" button. The new channel will be added the next time you sync.
