Job Title: Apple Network Systems Administrator
Reference: AMP2299 Location: Auckland-South

The Network Systems Administrator is responsible for providing scheduled on-site system administration and technical support for an assigned group of customers. In addition to scheduled support, they are also responsible for occasional on call and implementation work, and to take part in the provision of after hours support on a rotational basis alongside the rest of the technical team. Key accountabilities include keeping customers notified of any changes or disruption to services, and identifying when issues need to be escalated to minimise this; and to maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of the maintenance and basic troubleshooting requirements of supported Windows and Macintosh server technologies and software. You would also be required to complete all onsite and system documentation to a high standard and maintain detailed records of tasks completed and time taken to ensure that customer billing is prompt, accurate and informative. Role Requirements: You will ideally have Apple Macintosh or Windows server certification and a minimum of two years administration and server support, with sound Macintosh and PC hardware skills. You will need a high level of knowledge and understanding of all Macintosh and Windows client operating systems. Preferred Attributes: Skilled in customer relationship management. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Able to establish positive, professional relationships with staff and clients. High degree of technical ability, responsiveness, reliability and attention to detail. Undertake tasks with accuracy and care. Able to contribute to a cohesive team and the achievement of team goals Willingness to assist others whenever possible. The position is based within the Auckland region with occasional out of town travel as required to support customers in surrounding districts.
