| As a Field Service Engineer you will be visiting the needs of small to medium
sized clients who are not large enough to have an IT department. As an
outsourced IT department you will get to know a range of clients and
proactively help manage their IT infrastructure. You would be required to help
bring the IT systems to a standardised quality system so that it can be
monitored and managed remotely. For this role you will need to get on well
with the clients and be a trusted advisor and engineer. You will also need to
be very organised and have good time management skills so that tasks can be
completed on time as well as being able to manage busy schedules. This role
has true career progression as they are a Microsoft Gold partner. For this
role you will need good Windows server implementation and support experience
with W2K3, W2K5 and W2K8 including Active Directory, Exchange and VMware. If
you also have Citrix, SQL, Sonicwall, Backup Exec and Cisco experience it is
preferred. You will need your own car for this role. |
